MahjongWalk Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set forth the conditions for use of the iOS app "MahjongWalk" (the "App") provided by Kyohei Hakka ("we", "us", or "our"). Users of the App (each, a "User") shall use the App after agreeing to these Terms.

Article 1 (Application)

  1. These Terms govern the rights and obligations between us and Users relating to the use of the App.
  2. By downloading, installing, or using the App, the User is deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 2 (Account)

The App does not require account registration. Data is stored locally on the User's device.

Article 3 (Paid Services)

  1. The App offers monthly and yearly subscriptions, as well as a one-time-purchase Premium plan.
  2. Subscriptions automatically renew 24 hours before the end of each billing period unless canceled.
  3. Cancellation can be made at any time from the Apple ID settings. No pro-rated refunds will be provided for cancellation during a billing period.
  4. Displayed prices include applicable taxes. Payment is processed through the payment method linked to the User's Apple ID.

Article 4 (Prohibited Acts)

Users shall not engage in any of the following acts:

  1. Acts that violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals;
  2. Decompiling, analyzing, or tampering with the App;
  3. Obtaining Premium features by unauthorized means;
  4. Acts that infringe the rights of other Users or third parties.

Article 5 (Disclaimer)

  1. The App is provided "as is". We make no warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, or usefulness of the App.
  2. We shall not be liable for any damages incurred by Users in connection with the use of the App.
  3. Step counts obtained from HealthKit depend on data from the device and may contain errors.

Article 6 (Changes to the Terms)

We may change these Terms without prior notice to Users when we deem it necessary. The revised Terms shall take effect when posted within the App or on our website.

Article 7 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
