MahjongWalk Privacy Policy

Kyohei Hakka ("we") respects the privacy of users of the iOS app "MahjongWalk" (the "App"), and establishes this Privacy Policy as set forth below.

1. Information We Collect

1. Step Count Data (HealthKit): To process tsumo (draw) acquisition, we read only the "step count" from Apple HealthKit. Step count data is used solely within the user's device and is never transmitted to our servers.
2. Gameplay Data: Hand data such as the initial deal, discard history, and scores are stored on the user's device using Realm. They are never transmitted to our servers.
3. Diagnostic Data: To ensure stable operation of the App, we collect crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics. Crash reports do not contain personally identifiable information.
4. Usage Analytics Data: We measure feature usage anonymously using Firebase Analytics. We do not collect advertising IDs or user-specific information for this purpose.
5. Push Notifications: We deliver notifications such as Daily Challenges via Firebase Cloud Messaging. Device tokens are managed by Firebase, and we do not identify individual users.
6. Advertising: For non-Premium users, we display banner and interstitial ads through Google AdMob. To optimize ad delivery, AdMob may collect the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), coarse location, device information, and similar data, subject to the user's permission under Apple's App Tracking Transparency. For details, please see the Google Advertising Policy.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

• Personal information such as name, email address, or phone number
• Location information
• Device data such as contacts or photos (except for the HealthKit step count that the user has explicitly authorized)

3. Purposes of Use

1. Providing the game features of the App
2. Investigating and addressing crashes and failures
3. Understanding feature usage and improving the App
4. Delivering announcements and promotional push notifications

4. Provision to Third Parties

Except as required by law, we do not provide user information to third parties.

5. External Services

The App uses the following external services. Please review the privacy policy of each service.

• App Store / StoreKit (Apple Inc.)

6. Data Deletion

Uninstalling the App will delete all data stored on the device. HealthKit access permission can be revoked individually from Settings app -> Privacy -> Health.

7. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be changed without prior notice. In the event of significant changes, we will provide notice within the App or on this page.
